It's Time to Talk
The Project
It's Time to Talk examines and encourages the audience to confront the barriers towards community action against childhood sexual abuse. These barriers include social taboo, mental illness, and familial patterns. By using trauma-informed language to draw in both victims and their families, It's Time to Talk presented readers with real, euphemism-free facts about the prevalence and side-effects of sexual abuse. A speculative campaign was created including posters, brochures, and public signage to maximize community reach.
